Working Principle of Sibre BackStops
Several irregular blocks arranged regularly between outer ring and inner ring. When the inner ring is rotating in the working direction, the irregular blocks contact with the outer ring and inner ring gently. When the inner ring is rotating on the contrary to the working direction, irregular blocks will deflect driven by spring force and wedge outer ring and inner ring closer together to afford backstop torque.

Special design, 1000KN.m backstop torque with two cages inside , backstop force is two times than one cage inside.
